Watch real fights. Bet in real time. Win real pera. NewPlus brings the full sabong experience straight to your smartphone — 24/7 live streams, competitive Meron/Wala odds, and instant GCash payouts.
Sabong has always been more than just a sport in the Philippines — it's a tradition, a community, and for many Filipinos, a way of life. From the dusty cockpits of Mindanao to the packed arenas in Metro Manila, the thrill of watching two roosters go head-to-head is something that runs deep in Filipino culture. And now, with NewPlus, you can bring that whole experience with you wherever you go — no need to commute to the arena, no need to stand in line, and no need to deal with the crowd.
At NewPlus, we've partnered with the biggest and most reputable cockfighting arenas in the country to deliver high-definition, real-time live streams directly to our platform. Every fight you watch on NewPlus is genuine — real roosters, real handlers, real arenas — with nothing pre-recorded or simulated. What you see is exactly what's happening, streamed to you with less than a 3-second delay so you never miss the action.
Betting is simple and straightforward. You choose either Meron (the favored side) or Wala (the underdog), enter your stake, and confirm before the betting window closes. Odds are updated dynamically based on crowd sentiment and historical fight data, so you always have the most current information before making your decision. NewPlus gives you competitive odds on every single fight — often better than what you'd find at a physical arena.
Cockfighting in the Philippines dates back over 2,000 years, long before Spanish colonizers arrived on the islands. When Miguel de Loarca documented Philippine customs in the 16th century, sabong was already a well-established practice. It was regulated under Spanish rule, taxed under American administration, and eventually institutionalized under Philippine law as a culturally significant tradition. Today, it remains one of the most widely followed sports in the country, with millions of Filipinos participating as spectators, breeders, handlers, or bettors.
Traditional sabong takes place in structures called cockpits or sabungán, usually found in every municipality across the archipelago. Local Sunday cockfights — called perya-style informal matches — are as common as basketball courts in barangays. National derbies and championship events draw thousands of spectators and hundreds of millions of pesos in wagers. This is the world NewPlus is tapping into, bringing it fully online with the tools and technology modern Filipino players deserve.

One of the biggest frustrations Filipino online bettors have with other platforms is slow payouts. You win a fight, and then you wait hours — sometimes days — to see the money in your GCash wallet. NewPlus was built specifically to fix that problem.
All Sabong winnings at NewPlus are credited to your account the moment the fight result is confirmed — typically within 30 seconds of the fight ending. Withdrawal requests to GCash and Maya are processed within 15 minutes, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. No weekend delays. No holiday backlogs.
Sabong is exciting, but NewPlus always encourages our players to bet responsibly. Gambling should be a form of entertainment — a fun activity you enjoy within your means, not something that causes stress or financial difficulty. We've built several tools into our platform to help you stay in control.
You can set daily, weekly, or monthly deposit limits directly from your account settings. If you ever feel like you need a break, our self-exclusion tool lets you temporarily pause your account — no questions asked. Our NewPlus support team is also trained to recognize signs of problem gambling and can refer you to professional resources if needed.
Remember: you must be at least 18 years old to create an account and place bets on NewPlus. Age verification is part of our registration process, and we take this seriously. If you or someone you know is struggling with gambling, please reach out to a trusted counselor or visit our Responsible Gaming page for support resources.
